Often is the phrase, “do what you love,” associated with young professionals reluctant to abandon their 9-5 jobs in exchange for a fluidly unstructured career in the Arts. For Amy Tran and Kamelli Mark, however, this is their new reality as Vancouver and Edmonton wedding and event planners. Operating under the name, the All & Sundry Collective, Amy and Kamelli are ready to get you hitched.

In Vancouver, Amy Tran was the invisible voice of social media for many local companies and organizations such as Patch PlantersAyoudoFive Hole for FoodEPIC ExpoThe Projecting Change Film Festival, the list goes on. It’s no coincidence that these groups contribute to a larger movement of sustainable, socially beneficial communities that have developed this city’s entrepreneurial scene. Though she is stepping away from these roles to found her own company, Amy keeps this philosophy with all the events she produces.

“It’s an organic process, from crafting the aesthetics to inviting the guests. We want our clients to enjoy their day, before, during and after.” Amy adds, “including the bill.” Budgets of nearly all sizes are welcome for All & Sundry, and they intend to give you the most shine for your dollar.

Browsing All & Sundry’s beautiful website, everything looks straight-forward and organized. Pick a package, browse their Pinterest for ideas, and begin collaborating. Each portfolio example accentuates the details and innovative ideas that make every one of their events picture-perfect and entirely memorable. In the case of weddings, nothing speaks louder than the bride but everything emerges complementary, placed with purpose and forethought.

Apart from weddings, All & Sundry also put on stylish everyday gatherings complete with bespoke themes, unique party favours, and wholesome foods from nearby Farmers Markets. With the upcoming holiday season bringing the family together, All & Sundry can deck the halls with local boughs of holly.

Intimacy is the most important feature for the two-person All & Sundry team. Their designs encourage interaction with personalized menus, thoughtful takeaway crafts, and a timelessness made possible through stunning flower arrangements, handcrafted furniture pieces, and natural lighting displays. The amount of customization that goes into every event appears so seamless and yet it still invites conversation past the point of gathering.

Amy and Kamelli are excited to start their next event whether in Vancouver or Edmonton or elsewhere. Although the two are geographically separate (Amy handles the majority of Vancouver-based events while Kamelli handles those in Edmonton), their dedication to local products and collaborative teamwork has set this event planning collective apart from the others. Whether it’s a simple pop-up dinner or a full-scale wedding, the All & Sundry team are dedicated to stretching a moment of time into an unforgettable experience.
